Mitchell Brandtman were involved in the international BIMBUZZ competion.
The video and information below will provide some insight into the
capabilities of BIM (Building Information Modeling)

Mitchell Brandtman has been banging the BIM drum for over 7 years now,
so when the opportunity to collaborate with other like minded BIM leaders
presented itself, our team ran with it. The Bim-Buzz 48hr international BIM
Competition saw Mitchell Brandtman, Ellivo Architects, ADG Engineers,
Hutchinson Builders and Siganto & Stacey Engineers utilise their BIM skills 
to take part in an international BIM competition.

A total of 16 teams from 7 countries in the professional category were involved
in this international competion. Teams competed in a virtual environment and 
at the conclusion of the 48 hours, produced a fully integrated model including
5D (cost - MB's component) architectural, structural, building services design,
sun & wind analysis & consumption data, constructability analysis, model
checking, clash detection and 4D planning. The above video is a highlight of
the BIM submissions.
