Mitchell Brandtman in partnership with Holding Redlich's specialist construction and infrastructure team is delighted to invite you to attend our 2017 regional Queensland Construction and Infrastructure seminars.

The Queensland Government has recently promised that it

“…will make sure that subbies get paid in-full, on-time and every time”.

It is hard not to be sceptical: just a “politician’s promise” or a realistic goal?

To deliver on this ambitious promise the Palaszczuk Government has foreshadowed

“…unprecedented, historic action to secure payment for subbies”.

During a period of public consultation the Government has already specified certain action which will be taken including the introduction of Project Bank Accounts, changes to the Security of Payment legislation and changes to the Subcontractors’ Charges Act.

Join us to discuss some of the specific proposed Palaszczuk Government actions, whether they are likely to achieve what they set out to and what they will mean for you.

Gary Thompson from Mitchell Brandtman will then lead a refresher on the fundamentals of the preparation of a contractual claim. Gary will provide a practical guide to preparing claims in a way that maximises your prospect of being paid in full.

Holding Redlich will also be available after the session and all day in each location on the next day to answer any questions you might have.

Be sure to book your seat by clicking on the location below to RSVP.

Should you have any questions, please contact Chelsea Harrington at chelsea.harrington@holdichredlich.com or on 07) 3135 0506.
