Expert Witness services including the provision of legal reporting and court appearance regarding construction claims and disputes.

Mitchell Brandtman provides expert witness Quantum Reports to assist clients and legal representatives at either pre-litigation or litigation stages of construction disputes. Quantum Reports provide the required evidence in disputes to detail costs or damages incurred on construction projects. Our Quantum Reports include detailed written explanations and construction estimates that outline the determination of findings based upon the instructions provided by our clients or legal representatives. All our reports are prepared in accordance with expert witness code of conduct as per legal obligations.

Our teams can assist clients and their representatives in either preparing construction Security of Payments Claims, or responding to claims. Our team understand the legislative act and can deliver expert assistance and services in accordance with its provisions to achieve desirable outcomes.

We can assist clients by providing Insurable Loss Reports that will either assist in making a claim against a insurance company, or assist insurance companies when paying against a claim. Reports and estimates of construction costs are provided based on damage or a loss that has occurred to an insured property.

Mitchell Brandtman can assist both landlords and tenants in estimating the cost to make-good a vacated property in accordance with the terms and conditions of their lease. The majority of leases include a make-good clause and it is important to understand what work is required and the applicable cost when handing back a property once a lease has expired or is terminated. Our initial services include estimating costs and providing a report outlining all our qualifications, assumptions and exclusions.
